Summary
Ephesians begins by praising God for every spiritual blessing in Christ: chosen, redeemed and sealed by the Spirit. Paul explains that we are saved by grace through faith, and that Jews and Gentiles are now one new people in Christ.
The second half shows what that means in practice: unity in the church, a new way of life, love in marriage and family, and faithfulness at work. The letter ends with a call to put on the full armour of God and stand firm in prayer.
