Summary
2 Timothy is Paul's last letter, written from prison as he faced death. He urges Timothy not to be ashamed of the gospel but to fan into flame God's gift, to entrust the truth to faithful people, and to endure hardship like a good soldier.
Paul warns of difficult times ahead and affirms that all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching and training in righteousness. Looking back on his life, he writes, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
