Summary
2 John is a brief letter to "the lady chosen by God and her children" — probably a local church. The elder rejoices that some are walking in the truth and reminds them of the command they had from the beginning: to love one another.
He warns about deceivers who deny that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and tells the believers not to welcome or support such teachers. Truth and love belong together.
