12愛する皆さん。このことを、わきまえていてほしいのです。ここで私の身に起こったことはすべて、キリストについての福音を広めるのに、たいへん役立っているという事実をです。 13周囲の人たちはみな、兵営の兵士に至るまで、私が、ただクリスチャンであるというだけの理由で投獄されていることを知っています。 14また私を見て、ここにいる多くのクリスチャンは、投獄など恐れなくなりました。彼らは耐え忍んでいる私の姿に勇気づけられ、ますます大胆に、キリストのことを人々に語るようになったのです。
